Ana Nuño de Buen (Mexico City, 1989) graduated with honors from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) in 2014, participating in 2012 in a one-year academic exchange program at the Politecnico di Torino (PoliTo) in Italy.
She has collaborated with the studios Nieto Sobejano Arquitectos in Berlin, as well as Nuño MacGregor de Buen and Estudio MMX in Mexico City, leading various projects of different type and scale. In 2018 she started developing her own creative practice, both individually and collaboratively, working in the fields of design, research and communication of architecture.
In 2019 she received the “Young Creators” Grant given by the National Fund for Culture and Arts (FONCA), for her project “Space Between Pyramids”, which explores the prehispanic architectural concepts present in the work of Josef Albers.
